Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will continue with pouring of chess pieces and sand blasting.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working : Will be Finishing clock (adding plexi glass to front) .

Plastics- To give students an understanding of how signs are engraved, and how plastic can be heated and shaped
Assessments; Will be done by Question and Answers and Quiz.

LESSON PLAN
Kevin Scheib (Wood Shop) weekly lesson plans (11/6/10 - 12/10/10)15th week
Monday 12/6/10 No School

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will apply last coat of latex to the molds for the chess pieces. Any student not done with the mug projects will finish that while latex is drying.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working : Students will be sanding and routering the clock pieces and preparing them for assembly.
Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will be sanding and routering the clock pieces and preparing them for assembly. Advanced students will continue to work on projects.
TUESDAY 12/7/10

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will start to remove chess pieces from the latex. We will use baby powder so mold does not stick to self. I will also give demonstration on laying out the chess board. We will use a 8” X 8” acrylic sheet.
Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue to sand using electric sanders but they will also be hand sanding certain parts of the clock parts.
Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue to sand using electric sanders but they will also be hand sanding certain parts of the clock parts. Many Advanced students or assembling and nearing completion of first projects.
WENDNESDAY 12/8/10

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will continue with removal of chess pieces from molds and layout of board.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic: I will be giving a demonstration on assembly using the air nail gun and glue.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: I will be giving a demonstration on assembly using the air nail gun and glue. Advanced students continue to work on projects.
THURSDAY 12/9/10 TURKEY DAY

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will give demonstration on sand blasting of board to create pattern on board.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will start to assemble clocks. I will be giving very close supervision because students will be use the air nail gun. Students will be warned they must have safety glasses on or the will be written up.

Pd.7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will start to assemble clocks. I will be giving very close supervision because students will be use the air nail gun. Students will be warned they must have safety glasses on or the will be written up.
FRIDAY12/10/10 NO SCHOOL

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will give demonstration on mixing of clear acrylic and how to add dye to mixture.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Work: Students will continue with assembly of clocks.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue with assembly of clocks. Advanced students continue to work on projects.
