The new year is Here!!!!! I am looking forward to an exciting new year! I am very excited about the amount of students signed up for wood shop classes this year. In basic wood and Advanced Cabinet making we are presently working on measuring, and will be starting our shop safety packets soon. I have sent Two papers home to have signed on was explaining the grading policy and the other was explaining the project fees. I would like those sined and returned by Friday. Good morning to all! Spring is here! Basic wood working students are finishing up there Slanted- Lid Box. Over all students did very well. This was a very nice project that had many different operations. With the remaining time we will be building a bird house complacently by them self and assembling using the the good old hammer and nails. Advanced students will be finishing up there projects over the next few weeks. Many nice projects were made this year! Plastics is making a chess set at this time. Good Morning every One! they are calling for temps near 80 today! WOW where did spring go? Basic wood working students are moving along with the cook book box as I call it. They are doing a great job! There will be a lot of testing coming up here soon so we will loose some work time there but we are right on schedule. Advanced Cabinet students on doing good. many students are finishing up on projects and some have done their second and third projects. Good morning Parents and students! This spring like weather just makes it harder to stay inside but i am sure old man winter is not done with us yet! Basic wood working is starting their last project for the year. It is Cook book Holder. It will be made out of pine. this project will take a considerable amount of time. Advanced students continue to work on individual projects and with some students working on their second projects. Good morning to all! we are know in our third marking period and moving along at a good pace. Students in basic wood working are working on their third project for the year. We should be finishing up the mantel clock projects in the next few days and we will be moving on to the Cook book holder cabinet. The advanced students are move along at a high pace. Many students have finished their first projects and are starting on their second. Just a reminder students are responsible for all shop fees. Plastics Students are also doing good and we will be working on our Kyak project in the next few weeks.
