LESSON PLAN

Monday 2/28/11 No School

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will take a break from the Kayak project and continue with the pen holder project. Students will be pouring resin over their objects.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working : Students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue to work on projects.

TUESDAY 3/1/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will continue to work on Pen Holder project. They will be Sanding and buffing. This is a long process. I will demonstrate how to apply the pen base to the base.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue to work on projects.

WENDNESDAY3/2/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: I will give demonstration on making the paper weight project. Students will be using some sort of solid object that is fairly thin. We will be pouring it with the crystal clear resin.

Pd. 2,3,6 BASIC WOOD WORKING: Students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue to work on projects.
THURSDAY3/3/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will be putting pen holders together and starting the paper weight project.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue to work on projects.

FRIDAY 3/4/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students who poured Thursday will be sanding and buffing today and other students will be pouring the project today.

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will start to lay out patterns for the group project which will be the Kayak. This will be a combined project between both plastics classes. Students will also be working on the pen holder project at the same time.

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will give demonstration on pouring the pen holder project using a dollar bill.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working :

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue with layout and cutting of parts. Great strides are being made towards completion of projects.
TUESDAY 2/15/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will demonstrate sanding process of this project. We will go through three different levels of sanding. If time allows we will go to the buffing machine.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Advanced students will continue to work on projects and basic wood work will continue cutting project parts.
WENDNESDAY 2/16/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will demonstrate buffing if we did not have enough time to move to next step on Tuesday.
