Good morning North Schuylkill!!!!! It is good to be back in school. I am looking forward to a great year and a lot of projects be built. This is a record year for me as a wood and plastics teacher! I have more students then ever before. I will be doing things a little different this year with project fees and how they are paid. This is an elective class so all wood used for projects must be paid for by students. For basic students the fee will be $44.00 dollars, and I am asking that all students pay at least $20.00 dollars towards the cost be for they leave on Christmas vacation. The entire bill can be paid at any time if they so desire before the break. All students will receive a receipt for their payment. I did send home a paper explaining this procedure and ask them to have their parent or guardian sign and return to me. For advanced students they will be picking their projects then they will figure how much the cost will be and they must pay half the project cost before they may start to work. then when the project is completed they must pay the remaining cost. Plastic projects fees have not been completed yet but I will have a preliminary cost soon. If you have any questions you can contact me here at school by phone or email. Thanks Kevin Schein

Good Morning! Students in Basic Wood Working are finishing u the clock project at the present time. I feel that all students did very well with all three projects that they built. Normally students would know chose there own projects but since we are so far into the school year students will be choosing a project that they will all be building. Classes were very full this year and projects took longer to build. So we will be building a project in the same manner as we built the three previous projects. At the present time the project fees for the three projects they have built already is $25.00 dollars. This can be paid by cash or check. Please make any checks out to the North Schuylkill School Districts. All students will receive a receipt. The cost of the next project has not been determined. All Advanced Cabinet students continue to work on projects.
