Kevin Scheib (Wood Shop) weekly lesson plans (10/18/10 - 10/122 /10)7th week
Monday 10/18

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will be wrapping up the submersion projects today.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working : Students will continue to assemble and apply the screws to projects. Students will continue to put plugs into project, and fill holes. Some students will start to remove plugs and sand.
Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue to assemble and apply the screws to projects. Students will continue to put plugs into project, and fill holes. Some students will start to remove plugs and sand. Advanced students will continue with projects.
TUESDAY 10/19

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will be starting they Soft plastics projects. I will give a demonstration on the process of making soft artificial lures.
Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue with bench projects. I will be giving a staining demonstration.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue with bench projects. I will be giving a staining demonstration.
WENDNESDAY 10/20

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will start the soft plastics project. Students will be allowed to choose any mold they like. They may do as many as they like as long as everyone does the project first.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Some students will start staining while others will be cutting plugs and sanding.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Some students will start staining while others will be cutting plugs and sanding.

THURSDAY 10/21

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Will continue with the soft plastics project.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Most student will be staining today.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: : Most student will be staining today.

FRIDAY 10/22

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will be wrapping up the soft plastics projects today.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will be finish up staining. I will give a demonstration on clear coating.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will be finish up staining. I will give a demonstration on clear coating.

FOR ALL PERIODS:
PA. Standards (Science & Technology); 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6
Objectives; Wood shop-To have students fully understand the safe and proper use of all power equipment in the shop.
Plastics- To give students an understanding of how signs are engraved, and how plastic can be heated and shaped
Assessments; Will be done by Question and Answers and Quiz.
