Kevin Scheib (Wood Shop) weekly lesson plans (2/7/2011-2/11/2011)23rd week
Monday 2/7/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will be drilling and tapping the threads into the bottom.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working : Students will continue with layout and cutting of parts.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue with layout and cutting of parts.
TUESDAY 2/8/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will be adding the threaded plug and drilling the small holes in the top.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue with work of cutting project parts.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Advanced students will continue to work on projects and basic wood work will continue cutting project parts.
WENDNESDAY 2/9/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Some Students will continue with buffing and drilling and taping.

Pd. 2,3,6 BASIC WOOD WORKING: I will give a glue up demonstration and students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: I will give a glue up demonstration and students will continue to work on projects. Advanced students continue to work on projects.
THURSDAY 2/10/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will be finishing the last steps today.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students are working on their own. I will be assisting students with different processes as they arise. Will give a demonstration on planning lumber down after glued together.
Pd.7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students are working on their own. I will be assisting students with different processes as they arise. Will give a demonstration on planning lumber down after glued together.
FRIDAY 2/11/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: Students will be designing there next project which will be the Clip board.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Work: Students will continue to work on projects. When special operations are needed we will stop working and give a demonstration on that operation.
Pd. 7 Advanced Cabinet Making: Students will continue to work on projects. When special operations are needed we will stop working and give a demonstration on that operation.
FOR ALL PERIODS:
PA. Standards (Science & Technology); 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6
Objectives; Wood shop-To have students fully understand the safe and proper use of all power equipment in the shop.
Plastics- To give students an understanding of how signs are engraved, and how plastic can be heated and shaped
Assessments; Will be done by Question and Answers and Quiz.
