TUESDAY 2/15/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will start to lay out patterns for the group project which will be the Kayak. This will be a combined project between both plastics classes. Students will also be working on the pen holder project at the same time.

Pd. 2,3,6 Basic Wood Working: Students will continue to work on projects.

WENDNESDAY 2/16/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will continue to layout pattern pieces on the ¼” plywood

Pd. 2,3,6 BASIC WOOD WORKING: Students will continue to work on projects.

THURSDAY 2/17/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will continue to layout pattern pieces on the ¼” plywood

FRIDAY 2/18/11

Pd. 4,5 Plastics: We will start to cut out the patterns using the hand held jig saw.

Objectives; Wood shop-To have students fully understand the safe and proper use of all power equipment in the shop.
Plastics- To give students an understanding of how signs are engraved, and how plastic can be heated and shaped
Assessments; Will be done by Question and Answers and Quiz.
