Monday 11/29 NO SCHOOL

Pd. 1,4,7 Basic Wood:
Pd. 5 Advanced Cabinetmaking:
Pd. 2,3 Plastics Technology:
Tuesday 11/30

Pd. 1,4,7 Basic Wood: We will be starting our next project. Students will be planning lumber down to size for the shelf. The shelf will be made of white pine. Some students will be finishing up their bench projects.
Pd. 5 Advanced Cabinetmaking: Students will continue to work on individual projects and I will give a demonstration on gluing and assembling of the dove tail chest that a student is building.
Pd. 2,3 Plastics Technology: Students will continue to work on acrylic paper pour projects.

WENDNESDAY 11/30

Pd. 1,4,7 Basic Wood: We will continue with the planning of lumber and we will then start to cut to rough lengths so that each student will have their own pieces of wood.
Pd. 5 Advanced Cabinetmaking: Students will continue to assemble projects. I will be working with two students to assemble coffee tables.
Pd. 2,3 Plastics Technology: Students will continue to work on acrylic paper pour projects.

Thursday 12/1

Pd. 1,4,7 Basic Wood: I will give a review demonstration on the process of cutting the boards to the proper widths and to the finished lengths.
Pd. 5 Advanced Cabinetmaking: Students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 2,3 Plastics Technology: Students will continue to work on acrylic paper pour projects.

Friday 12/2

Pd. 1,4,7 Basic Wood: Students will continue to cut their project pieces to proper sizes.

Pd. 5 Advanced Cabinetmaking: Students will continue to work on projects.

Pd. 2,3 Plastics Technology: Students will be finishing their 1st acrylic pour project. I will be giving a demonstration on the next project which will be the Pen holder.
FOR ALL PERIODS:
PA. Standards (Science & Technology); 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6
Objectives; Wood shop-To have students fully understand process of how to use different types of measuring devices and how to measure accurately. Students will also learn safe and acceptable procedure for the shop.
Plastics- To have students fully understand process of how to use different types of measuring devices and how to measure accurately. Students will also learn safe and acceptable procedure for the shop.
Assessments; Will be done by Question and Answers and Quiz.
